Purpose of the Interface
This interface serves as an interactive map consolidating environmental data into a unified GIS portal for the Taw Catchment. This platform is designed exclusively to facilitate data exploration, interaction, and environmental understanding. The goal is improve accessibility to complex datasets and foster informed, data-driven research and collaborative decision-making dedicated to improving the overall ecological status of the Taw Catchment.
Getting Started
- Navigation: Use the mouse to pan and zoom across the map to reveal more data. Or, use the search bar at the top to find a specific location.
- Layers Control: Use the left-hand sidebar to toggle which data layers are currently visible on the map.
- Historical Data: Use the time filtering in the bottom right to explore the catchment data throughout history.
- Data Filtering: Click the "Filter" button next to each layer to query specific features (e.g., species).
